Chris Woodley broke the Carlow school record at the Go Fast River Run, at Lock Haven University, on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Woodley (SO/Northern Cambria, Pa.) ran 28:58.4, breaking his own school record of 29:08 set earlier this season at the Penn State Greater Allegheny Invitational. Woodley finished 31st overall in the 8k race.
The Celtics placed fourth among four teams and individual competitors at the NCAA Division II invitational.
Carlow’s next three runners finished 37th, 38th and 39th. Jeff Amorose (FR/Pittsburgh, Pa.) ran 31:25.9, Tim Richardson (FR/Monongahela, Pa.) ran 34:19.5 and Chris Taylor (FR/Jersey City, N.J.) ran 36:05.6. Vincent Bucci finished 44th, in 41:55.5.

Championship, at WVU Tech, on Saturday, Nov. 5.
