Launched in April 2005, the Carlow University Press is jointly administered by the University's Office of the Associate Provost and the division of University Communications and Community Relations.

The Carlow University Press publishes scholarly and creative writings primarily produced by the Carlow community with a focus on women's leadership, social issues, and regional interests.
