ECO Camp

ECO Camp (Environmental Career Opportunities) focuses on three core themes that students interested in pursuing careers in Environmental and Green science should be familiar with: Environment, Energy and Sustainability.

NEW THIS YEAR: 3-day workshop includes one night* spent in the Carlow dorms! (night of Wednesday, July 17). Cost includes the 3-day workshop, all off- campus transportation, a T-shirt, a journal, continental breakfasts and lunches and dinner (July 10), activities and residence hall during the overnight portion.

*A Carlow University graduate resident assistant will be with your students for the night.

Science and the Environment

ECO Camp is a three-day program that introduces you to "green" careers. Through hands-on labs, seminars, and field trips to Pittsburgh locations where environmentally friendly work is being done, you'll discover the broad range of opportunities in these booming fields. You'll also meet other girls like you who are eager to explore creative ways they can improve and sustain the health of the planet through fields like science, art, conservation, and industry.ECO Campers in action!

  • Seminars with scientists, conservationists, researchers, and environmentally friendly entrepreneurs
  • Trips for college preparation
