What study abroad is and why it is important...
Study abroad provides students with a hands-on, international experience that enhances their academic career here at Carlow. Studying abroad enriches a student’s global perspective and makes for a well-rounded, highly competitive college graduate. Furthermore, study abroad allows for individual growth, independence, and expanded views and ways of thinking about our increasingly global world.

Carlow students can study abroad for as long as an academic year to as short as a two-week long program—it truly depends on what is a good fit for your academic plan and goals.
