Ambassadors will assist students who are new to the study abroad process. This requires speaking peer to peer and offering advice and suggestions specific to the students’ needs. The ambassadors will share personal study abroad experiences and help guide the prospective student towards the appropriate resources offered by the Center for Global Learning. Ambassadors are not expected to serve as a student’s advisor—all prospective study abroad students will attend regular meetings with the CGL full-time staff/advisors. Rather, ambassadors will serve as peer advisors, much like mentors.
