We focus broadly on the student’s need to master content knowledge within and outside his/her chosen discipline, as well as to develop research and analytic skills, communications skills, computational skills, leadership skills, and a professional awareness of his/her career field. Integral to this education is the development of a student’s self-esteem, self-confidence, and independence. The natural outcome of this knowledge and self-awareness is the maturation of students who are grounded in their discipline, guided by their values, and who provide leadership for the benefit of others.
