The art/art education major is a professional program offered in conjunction with the Division of Teacher Education. It requires a minimum of 36 credits in art and a series of required courses in education and art education. (See School of Education).
Upon successful completion of the program, the student may receive certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education as a teacher of art, grades K through 12.
