An introduction to art therapy where students learn how art is used therapeutically with various populations and in a variety of settings. Through class participation using art therapy techniques and case presentations the students will gain knowledge of how art can be used to establish therapeutic goals and then be used to achieve those goals. The student will develop a basic understanding of the field of art therapy and how its roots developed from the field of psychology. 3 credits ART THERAPY MAJORS ONLY.
