Grace Ann Geibel Institute for Justice & Social Responsibility
Background Information

A Story of Virtue and Integrity
By virtue of its Mercy-founded mission, Carlow sustains its long-standing commitment to the education of working class women who are the first generation in their families to attend college, with special attention to women who are members of under-represented groups. The Institute is a means of further extending that mission, providing a forum for the professional and personal development of faculty, students, advocates and community and civic leaders to sharpen their skills and competencies in addressing the social justice needs that face our communities and the region.
