Each semester, the Carlow University School of Management invites an experienced professional to become involved and integrated into the life of the School. The executives in residence come from a wide-range of backgrounds and are experts in various non-profit and for-profit organizations from television/radio stations to international law firms. This semester, we are excited to introduce our Spring 2014 Executive in Residence Lyn Doverspike as she speaks to the Carlow community from 6:30-8pm on Thursday, February 13, 2014.

Lyn Doverspike is the director of the U.S. Commercial Service Pittsburgh office, part of a global network of offices in more than 100 major U.S. cities and in more than 70 countries housed abroad within U.S. Embassies and Consulates. The U.S. Commercial Service is the export promotion agency of the U.S. government serving under the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA). ITA works to improve the global business environment and helps U.S. organizations compete abroad. Doverspike and her staff address the exporting needs of companies in 36 of the 67 counties of Pennsylvania, regularly providing assistance to companies in the form of export consulting, foreign market intelligence, overseas business-to-business matchmaking, advocacy, and commercial diplomacy.
