Women's Volleyball Assistant Coach: Maggie Connor
Connor fell in love with volleyball at the age of 7 when her
neighbor first taught her to "pepper." She played competitively through her
teens as a middle hitter, outside hitter and setter, achieving all-state
(Ohio) and scholar-athlete accolades. In college, Connor opted to put volleyball aside to pursue
her other passion, architecture, and to study abroad. She graduated from the
University of Notre Dame in 1998. As an adult, she maintained her passion for
volleyball, playing competitively on USAVB Women’s A/AA teams. She is currently a part owner of a small architecture and urban design practice in Pittsburgh, and
joined the Celtics coaching staff in 2014. She is looking forward to beginning
her third year with Carlow University and the volleyball program in 2016.
