Advancement and Government Relations develops, strengthens and maintains relationships between the University and its graduates, and mutually beneficial partnerships with current and potential benefactors. These responsibilities include developing supportive relationships with individuals, businesses, foundations and elected and appointed public officials at the federal, state and local levels.

The unit provides leadership in fundraising to support the growth and enhancement of the University. Such fundraising includes responsibility for annual operating, capital and endowment campaigns, and for special projects.
