The Carlow University Women of Spirit® awards program and institute aims to become the premier leadership center for women throughout the Pittsburgh region focusing on Carlow's five mission areas: Education, Service, Lifelong Learning, Critical/Creative Thinking, and Values/Spirituality. Through alumnae’s participation in the institute’s activities and programs, alumnae have the opportunity to give back to Carlow and to share the resources and expertise in building a thriving women-centered leadership network.

Summer Science Nation is a three-day program that introduces you to career options in science. Through hands-on lab experiments, field trips to Pittsburgh’s research and industry facilities, and meetings with scientists in the field, you’ll see the broad range of opportunities in science that are available—and meet women succeeding in these careers.

PREPARE TO CARE
July 15 - 17, 2008
Prepare to Care is a three-day summer workshop for high school girls who are interested in healthcare professions. This interactive program gives you hands-on experience, and a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about health professions from expert University faculty, nurses, and other health care specialists.
