Major Courses | Minor Courses
This major gives students the foundational knowledge and skills to understand policy formation, implementation, and analysis. Students will identify and examine motivations and actions that drive governmental and organizational choices and decisions that lead to policy formation. Students engage in a process of self-discovery that involves the identification of issues about which they are most passionate. Through informed action, they can effect change in our society, both domestically and internationally. An integration of the importance of an advocacy role draws attention to a balance between individual rights and responsibility of community.
