Carlow University has offered women's sports for many decades. Throughout the years, the University has added more teams and have won more championships – most recently, the Carlow University Soccer team finished its best season in the college's history.
Our basketball team has been ranked in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) for academic success.
In 2012, Carlow University celebrated its first Women's Cross Country Team since 1996.
In 2012, we captured the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Championship and qualified for the NAIA National Tournament.
The team competes in at least 35 competitions per season and has post-season play opportunities in both the KIAC and USCAA.
The program started in the 1980s – Carlow’s second oldest athletic program – and competes in at least 10 competitions per season.
Carlow University Volleyball is the longest standing of Carlow’s athletic programs.
