Our state-of-the-art STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) laboratory and digital learning center opened in Fall 2012 The College of Learning and Innovation offers courses of study within Art, Art Education, Biology, Chemistry, Creative Writing, Education, English, History, Liberal Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, and Theology. You will acquire a solid liberal arts knowledge base, proficiency in scientific inquiry, and the ability to apply these skills to life situations.
We focus broadly on your need to master content knowledge within and outside your chosen discipline, as well as to develop research and analytic skills, communications skills, computational skills, leadership skills, and a professional awareness of your career field. Integral to this education is the development of your self-esteem, self-confidence, and independence. The natural outcome of this knowledge and self-awareness is the maturation of those who are grounded in their discipline, guided by their values, and who provide leadership for the benefit of others.
