Prepare to Care is a summer workshop for high school girls who are interested in healthcare professions and want to explore college life. Carlow University specifically designed this interactive program to give girls a hands-on experience and a rare glimpse into a field that may be perfect for them.
This 3-day workshop includes two nights* spent in the Carlow dorms! Cost includes the three-day workshop, all off-campus transportation, a
T-shirt, a journal, continental breakfasts and lunches and dinner, activities and residence hall during the overnight portion.
This three-day workshop introduces you to careers in the fields of health care and health sciences. It is open to all high school girls entering grades 9-12 interested in exploring the healthcare professions.

During Prepare to Care, you will meet with faculty members, nurses, and other healthcare specialists, researchers, tour healthcare facilities, and learn nursing essentials in Carlow's state-of-the-art Nursing Skills Lab.
