Pursuing outside scholarships (scholarships awarded by sources outside the University) can help finance your education. Unlike loans, they do not have to be repaid.
Below is a list of outside scholarship opportunities, but it is not exhaustive. This resource is intended to help you begin your search. Be creative, and you might discover many other opportunities on your own that match your professional goals, personal background, and interests. Apply, apply, apply!
Carlow University does not sponsor these scholarships, endorse these organizations, or claim any responsibility for selecting recipients. Students are responsible for reviewing the application requirements and submitting application materials to the scholarship-awarding organizations. Please notify the Office of Financial Aid if you expect to receive any outside scholarship funding. You can email finaid@carlow.edu or list the scholarships on your Reply Form.
