Rich has thirty-five years of professional behavioral health experience in a variety of for and non profit settings. Over the years Rich has worked in all levels of care in both psychiatric and alcohol and other drug treatment programs. His interests include the integeration of psychaitric and alcohol and other drug treamtment for persons served. While there are differences in the disorders the similiarities are much greater than the differences. His current efforts include working on the development of a Health Home that provides a comprehensive and integrated approach to the whole person care. This care team approach accross mutliple disciplines is the future for our fields of psychology and counseling. In addition to his work at Carlow University, Rich is the Adult Behavioral Health Services Director for Mercy Behavioral Health, part of the Pittsburgh Mercy Health System. In this role Rich oversees all the adult behavioral health services for the Pittsburgh Mercy Health System.
