Celtics fall to Apprentice in USCAA play

The Carlow women’s basketball team fell, 51-39, to USCAA opponent The Apprentice School, on Jan. 15, at Oakland Catholic.

Trailing, 41-38, after three quarters, the Celtics (2-10/0-6/2-2) were outscored 10-1 in the fourth quarter.

Carlow was led by Emma Stille (SO/Columbus, Ohio), who earned her seventh double double of the season with 10 points and 18 rebounds.

Ylexzis Traeger had a double double for the Builders, with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Quanisha Bruce also had 11 boards.

The Celtics return to River States Conference play Jan. 18, hosting Indiana University Southeast.
