Celtics fall to RSC East Division champs IU East

The Carlow volleyball team dropped its final home match to Indiana University East, 3-0 (25-16, 26-24, 25-15), on Saturday, Oct. 28.

The Grenadiers (17-17/11-4), who clinched the outright River States Conference East Division title with the win, were far more efficient offensively. They posted a .247 hitting percentage, while Carlow’s was just .085 percent.

Michaela Koran (JR/North Olmsted, Ohio) paced Carlow with 19 assists, five digs, and six kills on 11 attempts. Mia Marmion (SR/Upper St. Clair, Pa.) had 11 digs and Kristina Hudock (SR/Uniontown, Pa.) had seven kills and seven digs.

The Celtics (10-19/3-12/6-3) finish the regular season Tuesday, at Point Park.
