Carlow sweeps PSU Beaver in home opener

The Carlow volleyball team swept Penn State Beaver in its home opener Wednesday, Sept. 13, at St. Joseph Hall.

The Celtics won, 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-12), to move their overall record to 6-5 and their USCAA record to 5-1.

Kristina Hudock (SR/Uniontown, Pa.) powered Carlow with 13 kills and four digs.

Michaela Koran (JR/North Olmsted, Ohio) tallied 26 assists and two blocks. Mandy Toman (JR/Beulah, Colo.) had seven digs and five serving aces. Kassidy Dickson (JR/Cochranton, Pa.) added nine kills, two aces and two blocks.

The Celtics open River States Conference play Sept. 15 at Indiana University Kokomo.
