Biography

For most of his career Dr. Jones has served as a faculty member teaching Political Science and Women's and Gender Studies. This experience, combined with his recent service as a Director of the Library and Learning Commons at a sister school, has led him to hold a vision of academic libraries as being at the center of a campus' intellectual life. With Grace Library staff members and other university constituents, Dr. Jones hopes to position our Library and Learning Commons to meet today's unique challenges in information needs through innovation and a deep commitment to student success and the achievement of learning outcomes.
