Celtics end regular-season with tri-match split

The Carlow University volleyball team split a pair of matches at Indiana University East on Saturday, Oct. 29 to wrap up its regular season.

The Celtics defeated Ohio Christian, 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-20), and fell to IU East, 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-15).

Michaela Koran (SO/North Olmsted, Ohio) paced Carlow with a double-double against OCU, posting 30 assists and 11 digs. Kristina Hudock (JR/Uniontown, Pa.) added 14 kills, seven digs and four aces. Mia Marmion (JR/Upper St. Clair, Pa.) had 11 digs.

Against IU East, Hudock had nine kills and Koran had 26 assists. Bri Hoodlebrink (FR/Pemberville, Ohio) had 10 digs.

The Celtics (11-24/4-12) ended the regular season with a 2-1 week and await the outcome of the USCAA National Championships Selection Show on Tuesday, Nov. 1 to discover their postseason fate.
