Celtics fall to No. 13 WVU Tech

The Carlow University men’s soccer team fell to No. 13 WVU Tech, 8-0, on Saturday, Oct. 22, at Highmark Stadium.

Ignacio Tellechea and Francisco Neto netted two goals apiece. Prince Idornigie, Saul Montealegre and Steven McKinney each scored. One goal was a Carlow own goal. Matias Pasoz assisted twice and Montealegre, Eduardo Gutierrez, Alvaro Tina and Daniel Ramirez each had an assist.

WVU Tech goalkeeper Hunter Moles faced one shot and made one save.

Carlow goalkeeper Kosi Agbevor (JR/Brooklyn, N.Y.) faced 23 shots and made nine saves.

The Celtics host Penn State Beaver on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
