CCU tops Celtics in RSC opener

The Carlow University men’s soccer team lost its first River States Conference match Thursday, Sept. 29, against Cincinnati Christian University. The Celtics fell to the Eagles, 4-0, at Highmark Stadium.

Tyler Klein paced CCU with a goal and two assists. Jonathan Tukala, Aidan Strasser and Austin Paskow each scored a goal, and Shaun Saul had an assist.

Bryan McDowell earned the shutout, with one save. Kosi Agbevor (JR/Brooklyn, NY) made six saves for Carlow.

The Celtics next play host Asbury University, on Saturday, Oct. 1.
