3 Celtics place in top 10 at PSU Greater Allegheny

The Carlow University women’s cross country team placed second out of three teams at the Penn State Greater Allegheny Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 17.

The Celtics scored 32 in the 5k race, behind winner Frostburg State, with 29. WCCC scored 62 to finish third.

Three Celtics placed in the top 10, led by Janika Hutton (FR/Monongahela, PA), who was the runner up with a time of 22:00. Sierra Vecchio (SR/North Huntingdon, PA) ran 23:39 to finish fifth, and Leanne Glaub (SO/West Seneca, NY) ran 25:40 to finish 10th.

Katelyn Dillon, of Kent State Tuscarawas, was the individual champion, with a time of 21:27.
