Woodley paces Carlow men’s cross country team with school record

The Carlow University men’s cross country team placed third out of five teams at the Penn State Greater Allegheny Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 17.

The Celtics scored 93 in the 8k race, behind winner Frostburg State, with 25, and runner-up Penn State Fayette, with 74.

Chris Woodley (SO/Northern Cambria, PA) finished ninth and set a Carlow record, with a time of 29:08.

Cameron Coffey, of Penn State Fayette, was the individual champion (27:40) and his teammate Devin Pisarski was the runner-up (27:43).

Carlow next competes at the Franciscan University Invitational, on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 11:15am.
