University invites applications for the position of Computer and Media
Specialist. The Computer and Media Specialist has responsibility for technology
support and creative solutions for computers, audio-visual and media support. The
standard shift for this position is Monday through Thursday, 11:00am-8:00pm,
along with Friday and Saturday hours.
This position also will work two days each month supporting satellite
center(s). Night/weekend work will be
required during critical periods such as installations and peak periods.

- Working knowledge and experience of network cabling
connections (termination and metering)
- Experience installing software for a fleet of computers
while maintaining licensing and consistency measures
- Strong technical experience in computer, printer and

- Proven timely response and successful completion of
requests, to the satisfaction of the customer
- Experience trouble-shooting and showing creative
solutions to technology challenges
- Required: An Associate’s Degree in a
technology-related field such as Computer Science or Information Science, or

problem-solving attitude to fully completing tasks while ensuring customer
- Required: Excellent written and verbal
communication skills along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
