As an Admissions Counselor and social worker, Canice finds a great deal of satisfaction in building relationships with potential students. Her greatest delight is assisting applicants complete the admission process and seeing that class schedule become a reality.

Canice is a Carlow alumna and in the past has taught at Carlow and served as a member of the Board of Directors. She often says that "Carlow is in my DNA!!" In her opinion, Carlow is a very special place that provides a student with unique educational and overall growth opportunities. There is no place like it in the Pittsburgh community and so much of it is due to the rich heritage and values of the Sisters of Mercy. Carlow is still blessed by their presence on campus today.

In her spare time Canice enjoys planting flowers and hanging out with "Peanut," her dog.
